GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS 27TH IHF WOMEN’S HANDBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
These general conditions apply to tickets purchased for the matches in the Netherlands (Rotterdam & ‘s-Hertogenbosch). In these General Terms and Conditions, the terms indicated with a capital letter have the following meaning:
DEFINITIONS
General Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions for ticket sales by the organization 27th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship 2025. Hereinafter referred to as ‘’WHWC 2025’’.
Purchase Price
The total amount, including taxes and administrative fees, that the ticket buyer must pay for purchasing a ticket. The ticket price includes 9% VAT and a ticket service fee of €1.50.
Applicant
A person or the company that has submitted a correct and valid application and has received confirmation through the process as set out in these general terms and conditions. Applications can only be made for groups of more than 20 people via ticketing@wkhandbal.nl.
Visitor
The person who uses a Ticket and visits the Event. The organization distinguishes between different types of visitors: adults, children (kids), disabled.
The purchase or the purchaser
The person who enters or has entered into an Agreement with the organization of WHWC 2025 via the website.
Third Parties
Parties which, with permission of WK Handbal 2025 B.V., sell and/or offer goods to WHWC 2025 Ticket Buyers.
Event
The event for which the purchaser has purchased a Ticket, indicated with date, time, and venue.
Purchaser
Is the person buying and paying for the event tickets.
Face Value
Is the price printed on the Ticket including tax and the handling fee.
Official Reseller
Is a seller of Tickets and/or packages including Tickets, contracted by organization of WHWC. These Resellers will be placed on the website. If an organization is not named there, it is not considered an official Reseller.
Organization/Organizer
WK Handbal 2025 B.V. and all its contracted subcontractors insofar as they provide services and/or sell goods in the name of WHWC 2025.
Agreement
The agreement between the purchaser and the organization of WHWC 2025 for the purchase of one or more tickets. The International Handball Federation (IHF), The Dutch Handball Association (NHV), SportVibes and TIG Sports are the organizers of the event.
Passe-partout
Is a Ticket valid for multiple days sessions during the Event, actual days and/ or sessions that a passe-partout ticket will give access to will be specified separately.
PRM Ticket
One of the ticket types offered in the webshop for the event, either for an easily accessible seat or for wheelchair users.
Sector / Zone
Is a part of the Event Area that is fenced off and accessible only with a Ticket or Accreditation valid for that sector/zone.
Ticket
An admission ticket for an event day, match or session.
Ticket Buyer
Any person who is actually and lawfully in possession of a Ticket, including, but not limited to, Assigned Applicants, Ticket buyers and Guests and Sponsor Invitees (if applicable).
Ticket shop
The ticket shop of the organization of WHWC 2025.
Assigned Applicant
An Applicant whose offer to purchase tickets is accepted by the Organization through Allocation of the Tickets.
Section
A section designated by a name and sometimes a number and letter. Each combination is treated as a unique section.
Webshop
Is any official webshop operated by the Organizer under its own name under its own responsibility.
PARTIES
For the Event WK Handbal 2025 B.V. has been appointed by IHF as the official Organization for the sale of tickets for this Event. WK Handbal 2025 B.V. may use third parties for the execution of this Event. WK Handbal 2025 B.V. and these third parties together form the Organizer of the Event. The General and Booking Conditions for Ticket Sales (the “General Terms and Conditions”) are intended to affect a fair and clear process for the purchase and use of tickets for the Event. The sale and use of tickets for the Event are subject to both these General Terms and Conditions as well as to other applicable laws and/or regulations relating to access to and use of all event locations. A third party is being used, Ticketmaster Sports, to provide our ticketing sales system.
APPLICABILITY
These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer and every agreement that is concluded between the Organization and the person who applies for/purchases a Ticket for an Event organized by the Organization (Ticket Purchaser).
These General Terms and Conditions also apply if these agreements are concluded through an Official Reseller appointed by the Organization for the relevant Event.
The applicability of any General Terms and Conditions of the Ticket Purchaser or Visitor is explicitly rejected.
GENERAL
By agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions, the purchaser agrees to the below conditions, ticket conditions, access rules, privacy policy, and regulations.
- The organization of WHWC 2025 cannot be held liable in the event of a cancellation, strike, non-play, postponement, or not finishing of event or any of the matches therein.
- The organization of WHWC 2025 reserves the right to change the start times or days of the matches and the sessions in the program.
- At the beginning of ticket sales for the WHWC 2025, the schedule with specific matches and game times has not yet been determined. The final schedule, including the specific matches per session, will be announced only after the draw.
By purchasing a ticket, the buyer acknowledges and accepts that they may purchase a ticket for a session where the participating teams are not yet known at the time of purchase. No refunds or ticket exchanges will be granted based on preferences for specific matches or participating teams.
- Damages suffered at the event site cannot be recovered from the organization of WHWC 2025.
- The organization of WHWC 2025 cannot take responsibility for minors.
- Persons who cannot be held responsible for their own actions must be accompanied by a supervisor who is responsible for these persons.
- Visitors who disturb the event in any way, or cause damage or personal injury, are personally liable for this and in addition can be removed from the event.
- The organization of WHWC 2025 reserves the right to, in advance and without giving reasons, deny individuals or organizations access to the event site(s).
- Visitors are obliged to follow all instructions on (warning) signs and instructions from the organization and its employees.
THE AGREEMENT
- The Agreement is established when the purchaser has completed the purchase process for a Ticket on the Website and the purchaser has received a confirmation email including the corresponding Ticket from the organization of WHWC 2025.
- In the ordering process, the purchaser provides the personal data that the organization of WHWC 2025 needs in order to deliver The purchaser a ticket. The organization of WHWC 2025 will do its utmost best to make sure all information in the purchasing process is correct and actual. The organization of WHWC is not responsible for the consequences of providing incorrect or incomplete data in the ordering process.
- Every Agreement is concluded exclusively in Dutch or English and is electronically archived by the organization of WHWC 2025. The purchaser can request a copy from the organization of WHWC 2025.
- In the context of the Agreement, payment of the purchase price grants the purchaser access to a (sporting) Event that is held at a specific time and date. The Agreement is exempt from the legal right of rescission. After purchase, the purchaser cannot return the Ticket to the organization of WHWC 2025.
PRICE AND COSTS
- For each Ticket, the purchaser must pay the purchase price to the organization of WHWC 2025.
- The costs depend on type of ticket, the match, day, session, and type of Visitor.
- A handling fee of €1,50 per ticket will be charged incl. 21% VAT.
TICKET CONDITIONS
- Each Ticket is proof of one right of access to the indicated Event for one adult or child or senior. The Ticket is issued to the purchaser by the organization of WHWC 2025 by sending an e-ticket/mobile ticket with a unique barcode in the confirmation email no later than two weeks before the event.
- To gain access to the indicated event site(s), The purchaser must enable an employee to scan the barcode on the Ticket. Each barcode can only be scanned once per site. The purchaser is responsible for keeping the Ticket safe and secure so that someone else cannot use the ticket’s barcode in an unauthorized fashion.
- The organization of WHWC 2025 does not guarantee that all matches will be played as part of the Event on the date and time indicated on the Ticket. If for any reason, the Event does not take place, the organization of WHWC 2025 is not obliged to refund the purchase price of the Ticket to the purchaser.
- It is not possible to request a refund if a country does not qualify for the next round or does not play in the session/match you expected them to play in.
- The purchaser may purchase a maximum of 20 Tickets per session. The purchaser may resell Tickets to friends or family without a profit surcharge. If the purchaser resells a Ticket, the purchaser must inform the buyer that he/she must adhere to the General Terms and Conditions. The purchaser guarantee that the buyer complies.
- Tickets may not be used for any commercial purposes. If the purchaser is a company and wish to purchase Tickets for the Event to invite guests this is allowed however tickets may not be used for any form of promotion, sweepstakes, lottery, marketing and or sales purposes. The ticket can be rendered invalid, or the Visitor may be removed if, in the reasonable opinion of the organization of WHWC 2025, The purchaser acts contrary to one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions + Regulations. If the organization makes use of this right, The purchaser will lose the right to access one of the event sites and the purchaser will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price.
- Tickets for persons with reduced mobility will be available separately for disabled fans requiring accessible seating. A designated stand/platform will be arranged at the event location for this purpose. They may order one reduced mobility ticket and one companion ticket per person via the ticket shop.
- The Organizer aims for maximum efficiency and will therefore not issue physical tickets. No later than two weeks before the event, each Ticket Buyer will receive their ticket(s) in digital form, which will be emailed to them.
- The scanning of the Ticket on a Ticket Buyer’s mobile device is carried out entirely at the Ticket Buyer’s own risk. The e-tickets can be physically printed by the Ticket Buyer and taken to the Event. The Organizer is not liable if a Ticket cannot be scanned and the Ticket Buyer is not entitled to a refund of the amount of the Ticket and/or compensation in this case.
- Tickets remain the property of the Organizer at all times.
- The resale, transfer of tickets, offering or advertising tickets for resale or transfer, whether free or against remuneration, is strictly prohibited.
It is allowed to:
- to transfer Tickets to other natural persons (whose information will linked to the tickets online) on the condition that:
- the tickets are for personal use;
- such transfer is never made for a fee higher than the price of the ticket published at the Website increased by a handling fee (if any) paid by the Ticket Buyer; and
- third parties, through the transfer of Tickets, agree to be subject to these General Terms and Conditions.
Tickets are not (unless written exemption has been received from the Organizer):
- to be used for any form of promotion, advertising, fund-raising, auction, lottery or any other similar commercial or non-commercial purposes;
- to be used as a prize (or part of a prize), give-away in any competition, (promotional) game of chance, lottery or contest;
- to be combined with and sold as part of a package of goods or services; or
- to be combined with and sold as part of a travel or hospitality package (e.g. by combining flights, hotels and Tickets or other products or services).
The Ticket Buyers are not allowed:
- to seek any association (e.g. through advertising, marketing, promotion, etc.) with the Event, IHF or any other commercial entity.
- to advertise, promote, give away, distribute, sell or offer for sale products or services in any part of the venue, or through the public display of commercial messages on clothing worn or objects brought into the venue.
For the avoidance of doubt, at the Event, no single brand that could be used for promotional or marketing purposes is to be displayed by any Ticket Buyer. Unless the Organizer has given its explicit prior consent.
Tickets obtained or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions will be invalidated without entitlement to a refund, and any person attempting to use such a Ticket will be considered an offender and access will be denied, or he will be removed from the venue and can be held legally responsible. Any unauthorized sale or transfer of Tickets can be reported to the police by the Organizer.
PERSONAL DATA
The Purchaser must complete his or her personal data In the Webshop.
It is always the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that:
- the Application Form is fully completed with all required personal data.
- the mandatory consents with respect to the processing of personal data and the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as required by the Organizer on the application form are correctly specified by clicking on the corresponding checkboxes in the application form;
- andthe application form has been correctly submitted to the Organizer in accordance with the instructions specified on the application portal.
Any failure by the Applicant to comply with the above requirements will result in the Tickets being rejected or the sale being cancelled.
The Purchaser is himself solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided by the Purchaser in the application form is complete and correct. If this information proves to be incorrect or incomplete, the Organizer has the right to refuse the application or to declare any allocated Tickets to be invalid (if already issued).
Administration and Mediation costs Tickets
For all ticket bookings, the Organizer charges a one-off fee for each ticket (for administration and mediation costs). Pursuant to the European regulations, this fee will be clearly specified when booking.
This fee will be € 1,50 per ticket (regardless of the amount of tickets ordered) and is included in the ticket price.
ACCESS RULES
Access to the Event is permitted during the hours indicated on the Ticket or published on Home – Women’s Handball World Championship 2025
Access to the Event is:
- Subject to compliance with:
- these General Terms and Conditions.
- the house rules of the event locations which can be found on the website of relevant venue. Where there are discrepancies between these house rules and the conditions in this document the latter prevail.
- all Applicable Legislation (whether according to public law or otherwise), including all health and safety requirements including in relation to COVID-19 and otherwise.
- entitled upon presentation of a valid Ticket per person (regardless of age) and, on request, an identity document with a valid photograph (passport or national identity card). The Ticket Buyer is at all times obliged to show his Ticket at the request of the Organization, security staff and other authorized persons. The Ticket Buyer may be refused access to the Event if he/she has a Ticket that has been purchased through an unauthorized channel. The Organization cannot be held liable, nor can any damage be claimed as a result of the (re)sale of a Ticket (including the validity of a Ticket) for the Event through any sales channel.
- Ticket Buyers who leave the Event will not be admitted again.
- The Ticket Buyer is obliged, if requested, to cooperate with a body search when visiting the Event.
- There may be cameras making recordings on the grounds/location where the Event takes place for surveillance and security purposes and for commercial purposes.
- The visitors are required to show the Ticket at the first request of the police or authorized employees of the relevant event site and to immediately follow any instructions given.
- The visitor does not have access to areas that are not intended for access for the general public.
- The visitor may not impede the flow of people at the various event sites. This means that the use of entrances, stairs, aisles, and platforms is limited to that which is strictly necessary for entering or leaving the sites.
- When entering the relevant event site, the visitor may not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or narcotics. If there is reasonable suspicion by the authorized employees, the visitor may be denied access to the Event.
- At the event sites, it is not permitted to offer for sale, or possess with the intent to offer for sale or consumption, merchandise or goods such as beverages, food, souvenir items, t-shirts, scarves, and flags.
- At the event site, the visitor may not behave in a provoking or threatening manner or create any danger to the life or health of the visitor and/or others. Moreover, the visitor may not behave in such a way that the visitor may cause damage to the event site, such as climbing light towers, fences, roofs, signage, and other equipment or structures.
- It is forbidden to bring dogs and other animals to the event site. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs and dogs for assistance.
- By making use of the Ticket, the visitor accepts that the visitor can be searched by the police and authorized employees and that they may confiscate any objects found in the visitor’s possession that are not permitted as indicated in these General Terms and Conditions.
- Security checks take place when entering the event site.
- Upon entering the event site, the visitor agrees that one can be photographed or filmed, for both commercial and security purposes.
- The occasion is impartial toward politics. Remarks that can be interpreted as politically inflammatory/ offensive are forbidden and could be reported.
- You are obliged to follow instructions from the organisation and its staff in and around the premises the WHWC2025.
- Unwanted, annoying behaviour and/or discrimination will not be accepted. Based on behaviour, the organisation may deny access to the WHWC 2025. Give each other the space to enjoy together.
- In situations where the house and entry rules do not speak sufficiently, the organisation will decide.
ACCESS REFUSAL ORDER
- If the organization of WHWC 2025 has made use of its denial and removal right, as described in the Ticket Conditions, it can impose an Access Refusal Order on the visitor. This order means that the visitor is not allowed to visit any of the events of WHWC 2025. The scope of the Access Refusal Order depends on the gravity of the conduct that led to the denial of access or the removal from one of the event sites. The purchaser will be notified of an Access Refusal Order in writing.
- If the organization of WHWC 2025 has imposed an Access Refusal Order on the visitor, the visitor can submit an objection to the organization. The objection does not suspend the imposed Access Refusal Order. The purchaser must send the objection in writing and by registered mail. The notice of objection must be received by the organization within 14 days after the date of the Access Refusal Order. If the visitor submits the notice of objection too late, the organization will declare the visitor objection inadmissible. The organization will decide on an admissible notice of objection within 30 days of receipt and inform the visitor of its decision in writing.
- For the duration of the Access Refusal Order, the visitor may not purchase tickets. If the visitor does have a ticket, the organization of WHWC 2025 is not required to grant the visitor access to the Event.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/DISCLAIMER
- The organization of WHWC 2025 is not liable for damages that the visitor and/or purchaser suffers during a visit to the Event.
- The liability of the organization of WHWC 2025 for damages that visitor and/or purchaser suffer that are attributable to, or stem from non-compliance of the Agreement by the organization, is limited to the total amount that the purchaser have paid to the organization for the relevant Tickets.
- The purchaser indemnifies the organization of WHWC 2025 for any financial disadvantage suffered because of its non-compliance with one or more provisions in these General Terms and Conditions, such as non-compliance with the access rules.
OFFICIAL RESELLER
The validity of the ticket is only guaranteed in case of purchase from an authorized Reseller or from the Organizer. The burden of proof in this respect rests with the Ticket Buyer. Authorized Resellers are stated by name the WHWC website.
MISCELLANEOUS
- The organization of WHWC 2025 has partially outsourced the implementation of the Agreement to Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster can perform its obligations under this Agreement on behalf of the organization of WHWC 2025.
- Dutch law applies to the Agreement.
PAYMENT METHODS

CONFIRMATION OF THE PURCHASER INTERNET PURCHASE
- Immediately after the purchase and payment have been completed, the purchaser will receive a confirmation email. No later than two weeks before the event, the Ticket Buyer will receive a confirmation email containing the e-ticket/mobile ticket from Ticketmaster. The purchaser e-ticket/mobile ticket is the Ticket to the chosen Event.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS FOR TICKETS
The Buyer acknowledges and agrees that all purchases made through the webshop are final. If the Buyer wishes to cancel the tickets, a 100% cancellation fee will apply to all canceled tickets, including administrative and service charges.
REFUND POLICY
In the event of cancellation of the WHWC 2025, the Assigned Applicant is entitled to reimbursement of the Tickets purchased by the Assigned Applicant, however, subject to the condition that:
- Any refund can only be granted to the Buyer (and not to the Ticket Holder) and solely for the amount paid by the Buyer for the tickets. To avoid doubt, the Buyer is not entitled to a refund of any costs or expenses incurred by the Buyer or Guest(s) in relation to travel or accommodation.
- Any refund will never exceed the amount covered by the Organizer’s insurance.
- The Organizer Parties and/or the venue owner are not further liable to the Buyer, Guest(s), or Ticket Holder for such cancellation, interruption, postponement, or repetition, or any other failure or shortcoming in the execution of WHWC 2025, beyond what is stated in points 1 and 2 above.
In case of postponement of WHWC 2025, the Buyer is entitled to new tickets for the rescheduled event/date under the following conditions:
- This right is granted only to the Buyer (and not to the Ticket Holder) and, to avoid doubt, does not entitle the Buyer to a refund of any costs or expenses incurred by the Buyer or Guest(s) in relation to travel or accommodation.
- Notwithstanding the above, the Organizer Parties and/or the venue owner are not liable to the Buyer, Guest(s), or Ticket Holder for such cancellation, interruption, postponement, re-execution, or any other failure or shortcoming in the execution of WHWC 2025.
HELPDESK
- WHWC 2025 website indicates at what times the helpdesk can be reached to help the purchaser with questions and uncertainties.
LEGAL CONSIDERATION PERIOD
- The organization of WHWC 2025 only sells timebound Tickets via its Website. As a result, these sales do not fall under the legal consideration period of 7 days within which a purchase can be canceled.
THIRD PARTY OFFERS ON LOCATION
The Ticket Buyer of the Event may be offered products and/or services at the Event by Third Parties with a stand, such as drinks or foods, merchandise or other products such as clothing or providers of (fairground) attractions. Although the Organizer selects these Third Parties with care, the Organizer is not a party included in an agreement between the Ticket Buyer and this Third Party. The Organizer is never liable for any damage whatsoever resulting from the purchase or purchase by the Ticket Buyer of a product or service, including a (fairground)attraction of this Third Party. The Ticket Buyer indemnifies the Organizer against any claims for costs or damage that may arise from an agreement between the Ticket Buyer and this Third Party. Any applicable General Terms and Conditions of the Third Party can always be requested from this third party.
INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
Although the Organizer pays great care and attention to the provision of information on the Website, it cannot give any guarantee regarding the nature and content of the information and is in no way liable for the content and consequences of its use. To the extent that the Website contains hyperlinks to offers, products, material or a third-party website, the Organizer is neither responsible nor liable for the operation of such hyperlink(s) and the access and content of the information on such a website.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Everything published on the Website, social media and made public at the Event or what belongs to it, including music files, artist and label names, streaming, downloads, software, designs, drawings, logos and trademarks belongs to the intellectual property of the Organizer or any licensor thereof based on the law or an agreement.
The Ticket Buyer must always acknowledge and comply with these intellectual property rights and comply with all restrictions imposed by law on the use of protected works. Nothing in these General Terms and Conditions is intended to transfer or license any intellectual property rights to the Ticket Buyer.
The rules of the Copyright Act and other laws of intellectual property always apply in full for any use, and take precedence over these terms of use.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
The Organizer and/or the Venue Holder reserve the right to make changes to the time, date, and location of the Event due to unforeseen, exceptional circumstances, such as force majeure, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, weather conditions, or legal restrictions, in the interest of the Event’s safety.
CHANGES TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Organizer reserves the right to adjust these Terms and Conditions if this is necessary to ensure proper and secure organization of the Event. The Organizer shall inform each Purchaser of any such changes.
VALIDITY OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Should any or more of these Terms and Conditions be declared invalid, ineffective, unlawful or unenforceable by a competent court, regulatory authority or authority.
1the other terms and conditions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in effect as if the invalid, ineffective, unlawful or unenforceable provision(s) had not been included; and
2where necessary and/or permitted under the applicable legislation, the invalid provision shall be replaced with a provision that comes close to the economic purpose of such an invalid provision.
TRANSLATION OF GENERAL- AND BOOKING CONDITIONS
These general conditions have been translated from Dutch to English. Where there are discrepancies either by translation and/or otherwise, the Dutch General- and Booking Conditions will always prevail.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
The organizer will share any relevant information (not for commercial use) with authorities and or other parties if this is needed for health and/or safety reason.
AVAILABILITY OF THESE CONDITIONS
These General Terms and Conditions are available electronically on the website OF WHWC and the Ticket Buyer may save the conditions for future reference as referred to in Section 6: 243 subsection 2 of the Dutch Civil Code.
REGULATIONS
Rules have been established for the safety of everyone who is present at WHWC 2025. These do not differ from other events in the Netherlands. Read them carefully before the visitor comes to WHWC 2025, because by being present at WHWC 2025, the purchaser automatically agrees to these Regulations.
ENTRANCE CONTROL
For the safety of visitors and participants, security checks take place when entering WHWC 2025. During these checks, body searches and bag checks can be carried out. The following items are not allowed at WHWC 2025 and will therefore have to be handed in or taken home before entering.
The following items are not allowed on WHWC 2025 site:
- Bags larger than A4 size and thicker than 10 cm,
- Drinks and food,
- Glass, cans, and plastic bottles (refillable water bottles are allowed),
- Soft or hard drugs,
- Nitrous oxide,
- Blunt, striking, or firearms, or items that resemble weapons or are offensive,
- Flags with poles longer than one meter,
- Aerosol cans (except sunscreen, deodorant, and perfume),
- Gas stoves and (disposable) barbecues,
- Umbrellas,
- Sound carriers, horns, or similar items,
- Fireworks or torches,
- Provocative messages on clothing,
- Coolers, (foldable) chairs, and stools,
- Any items too large to be placed under a stadium seat,
- Pets (except assistance dogs),
- Promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, banners (unless approved by and with permission from the organization),
- Professional filming, photography, or audio equipment (unless approved and accredited by the organization), selfie sticks, drones (both on the ground and in the air).
Visitors may not throw objects or liquids on the event premises.
On the event premises, visitors may not possess or use objects that, in the judgment of authorized staff, could cause unnecessary inconvenience to others or pose a danger to people or property. This includes items that produce excessive noise, such as a foghorn or trumpet.
Decisions made by security personnel are binding. Anyone entering the WHWC 2025 grounds automatically agrees to cooperate with security checks. If illegal items are found, the visitor will be handed over to the police.
ALCOHOL
According to Dutch law, the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18 is not permitted, neither is the consumption of alcohol by these persons. WHWC 2025, just like other events, does not deviate from this legislation and will actively monitor the situation. the visitor may be asked for identification, The visitor can possibly get a wristband from the information desk that indicates that the purchaser is 18 or older. If underage alcohol use is detected, the beverage will be confiscated, and the visitor will be removed from the event site.
DRUGS
Having, using or trading drugs is not permitted at WHWC 2025. Bags and clothing can be checked by police or security staff.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR AND CRIMINAL OFFENSES
Visitors are obliged to comply with the regulations and/or instructions of the security staff. Instructions and/or assignments given by or on behalf of employees of the organization must be immediately carried out in full or complied with. If the security staff or the organization judges that the visitor’s behavior is undesirable or inappropriate, the visitor may be denied access to WHWC 2025. In the event of a criminal offense, the visitor will be transferred to the police and a report will be made, always.
SALE AND PROMOTION
The sale or promotion of goods and/or services on or around WHWC 2025 site is not permitted without prior written permission from the organization.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- It is forbidden to bring professional photographic, film and other recording equipment to the location where the Event takes place (except with the explicit permission of the Organization), under penalty of confiscation for the duration of the Event. Organization does not accept any liability for seized or stored goods. The recording of the Event for professional purposes or distribution other than in the Ticket Buyers’ own private, social network, including photographing, filming and making (other) sound, and/or image recordings, is prohibited, as well as the reprinting and/or copying of the program (booklet), posters and other printed items
- When taking photos at event site and all associated locations, consider the situation of the person(s) involved.
ANIMALS
Animals are not allowed at WHWC 2025. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs and dogs for assistance.
CHILDREN
The WHWC 2025 organization advises parents to assess the situation on-site. If visitors bring children to the event grounds, they should consider the uneven terrain, the size of the venue, the large crowds, loud music, and overall busyness.
OWN RISK
Entering WHWC 2025 site is entirely at the visitor’s own risk. The organization of WHWC 2025 is in no way liable for any damage caused to visitors and/or their property.
LOST AND FOUND
All found objects are collected at the information desk during WHWC 2025. At the end of WHWC 2025, all remaining found objects will be brought to the office of WK Handbal 2025 B.V, Valschermkade 30, 1059 CD Amsterdam.
CONFISCATED ITEMS
Items that are not permitted at WHWC 2025 will be confiscated and not returned to the visitor. If necessary, items will be handed over to the police with the purchaser.
PUBLIC URINATION
Public urination is not permitted, and the police will issue fines for this. Make use of the toilet facilities on site.
ACCESSIBILITY
The organization of WHWC 2025 does its best to ensure wheelchair accessibility. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are available. However, there is no guarantee that there will be (enough) space. Instructions given by staff must be followed at all times.
PARKING
The WHWC 2025 organization is not responsible for the sale of parking tickets. The sale of parking tickets for WHWC 2025 is managed by the venues where the matches are held. Please check the venue websites for more information.
Please note:
- Parking is only permitted in designated areas. This applies to cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
- Always follow the advice of the parking attendants.
- Keep the parking area clean. Dispose of all visitor waste in the designated bins.
- Any littering in the parking area will be reported to the police.
- Glassware is not permitted in the parking area.
- It is prohibited to relieve oneself outside of the designated sanitary facilities.
- In case of obstruction, the organization reserves the right to move the vehicle.
- Parking on the premises is at the visitor’s own risk. The venue operator cannot be held liable for any damage or theft of vehicles and/or contents.
