Opening hours
The doors of Rotterdam Ahoy open 2 hours before the start of the first match. The stadium doors open 45 minutes before the match begins. See the match schedule for the start times of the games.
STADIUM ACCESS
Access to the stadium at Rotterdam Ahoy varies depending on the tournament round:
- Preliminary round. For TeamNL matches, a “sweep” is in effect: all visitors must leave the stadium before the next match begins. Afterward, visitors for the TeamNL match may enter. Note: This applies even if you have tickets for both matches.
- Main round. A Main Round ticket grants access to all matches at Rotterdam Ahoy on the match day for which your ticket is valid.
- Finales. During the finals, a “sweep” is in effect: all visitors must leave the stadium before the next match begins. Note: This applies even if you have tickets for both matches.
Ticket informatiON
You will soon receive your tickets for the 2025 Handball World Championship. On match day, tickets provide access to Rotterdam Ahoy both digitally and in printed form.
Note: Tickets are not available via the Ticketmaster app. Log in on your phone to your Handball World Championship account on the website to view your tickets and add them to your wallet.
