After nineteen days of handball at the highest level, the 27th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship came to an end today. The tournament brought the world’s best teams to the Netherlands and Germany, delivering nearly three weeks of sporting highlights, excitement, and emotion.

The bronze medal match was held today at Rotterdam Ahoy, where the Netherlands faced France. Despite strong support from the home crowd, France came out on top, leaving the Dutch team in fourth place.

In the final, Norway and Germany were evenly matched for much of the game, but Norway ultimately made the difference and claimed the world title.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this wonderful tournament, including players, staff, volunteers, fans, and organizers. Together, we made this a World Championship to remember!
