Ticket informatiON
You will soon receive your tickets for the 2025 Handball World Championship. On match day, tickets provide access to Rotterdam Ahoy both digitally and in printed form.
Note: Tickets are not available via the Ticketmaster app. Log in on your phone to your Handball World Championship account on the website to view your tickets and add them to your wallet.
Opening hours
The doors of Rotterdam Ahoy open 2 hours before the start of the first match. The stadium doors open 45 minutes before the match begins. See the match schedule for the start times of the games.
STADIUM ACCESS
Access to the stadium at Rotterdam Ahoy varies depending on the tournament round:
- Main round. A Main Round ticket grants access to all matches at Rotterdam Ahoy on the match day for which your ticket is valid.
- Finales. During the finals, a “sweep” is in effect: all visitors must leave the stadium before the next match begins. Note: This applies even if you have tickets for both matches.
World Championship Handball Fanzone
Get in the spirit before the 27TH IHF WOMEN’S HANDBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 in the Fanzone in Hall 2 of Rotterdam Ahoy! Enjoy the perfect warm-up with food, drinks, and a great atmosphere before the matches begin.
Opening Hours Rotterdam Ahoy Fanzone:
- 3 December – 8 December: 13:30 – 22:30
- 10 & 12 December: 15:30 – 22:30
- 14 December: 12:30 – 19:30

House rules
Before your visit, please read the house rules so you’ll know what you can and can’t bring with you.
For instance, bringing items larger than A4 size into the venue is not allowed. The organization and the venue are not liable for theft and/or loss of clothing or other personal items.
Lockers
Lockers are available for your personal belongings for a small fee. Upon arrival, you can rent and access a locker by scanning a QR code. Instructions will be provided on-site.
Food & Drinks
During the event, several counters will be open where you can buy drinks and a variety of snacks. Bringing your own food or drinks is not allowed. Please note : Ahoy Rotterdam operates PIN ONLY.

After completing the entire purchase process and making the payment, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive an email with your tickets. Please note that this email may end up in your spam or promotions folder. When you receive the email with your tickets, they will also become available in your account.
