Venue Ahoy
Rotterdam was one of the host cities for all rounds of the IHF World Championship. The city is known as a modern port city with more than 600.000 inhabitants and represents 170 nationalities. Rotterdam offered a welcoming environment for fans from all over the world. The final took place in a sold-out Rotterdam Ahoy, with more than 10.000 spectators.

Venue Maaspoort
‘s-Hertogenbosch, a city where history, culture and charm come together, formed the backdrop for the group stage and the President’s Cup of the Handball World Championship 2025. In the modern and attractive Maaspoort Arena fans experienced handball at the highest level.
Dortmund
Venue Westfalenhalle
Dortmund was proud to be one of the host cities! Located in the heart of the Ruhr area, this dynamic city is known for its rich industrial heritage, vibrant culture and passion for sports. This is where the main round and quarter-finals took place, and where 12.000 fans gathered to enjoy handball.
Stuttgart
Venue Porsche-Arena
Stuttgart, located in the idyllic southwest of Germany, is known for its rich culture, innovations and beautiful nature. During the Handball World Championship 2025, the best handball players competed during the group stage in the Porsche Arena. This state-of-the-art sports hall, with state-of-the-art facilities and breathtaking design, accommodated more than 6.000 fans.
Trier
Venue Arena Trier
Located on the banks of the Moselle and known for its rich Roman heritage and charming atmosphere, Trier provided a unique backdrop for the group stage of the Handball World Championship 2025. In Germany’s oldest city you will find the modern Arena Trier, where 5.000 fans enjoyed the exciting atmosphere during the matches.
