From November 26 to December 14, 2025, the world will unite for the 27th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship in the Netherlands and Germany—the ultimate stage of handball. Under the motto ‘Hands Up For More,’ the best teams from around the globe will compete in five cities: Rotterdam, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Dortmund, Stuttgart, and Trier.
With every block, every goal, and every cheer, we put our hands up—for fair play, fierce competition, and the love of the game. Dream big, aim high: hands up for more!

Rotterdam is one of the host cities for all rounds of the IHF World Championship. The city is known as a modern port city with more than 600.000 inhabitants, and it represents 170 nationalities. Rotterdam offers a welcoming environment for fans from all over the world. The final will take place in a sold-out Rotterdam Ahoy, where more than 10.000 spectators are welcome.

'S-HERTOGENBOSCH
’s-Hertogenbosch, as known as Den Bosch is a city where history, culture, and charm converge, will serve as the backdrop for the group stage and the President’s Cup of the Handball World Championship 2205. Fans will experience handball at the highest level as the modern and atmospheric Maaspoort transforms into an aesthetic sports dome.

Dortmund is proud to be one of the host cities! Located in the heart of the Ruhr area, this dynamic city is known for its rich industrial heritage, vibrant culture and passion for sports. This is where the Main Round and quarter-finals take place and 12.000 fans gather to enjoy handball.

Located in the idyllic southwest of Germany, Stuttgart is known for its rich culture, innovations and beautiful nature. During the Handball World Championship 2025, the best handball players will compete during the group stage in the Porsche Arena. This modern sports hall, with state-of-the-art facilities and breathtaking design, can accommodate more than 6.000 fans.

Located on the banks of the Moselle and known for its rich Roman heritage and charming atmosphere, Trier provides a unique backdrop for the group stage of the Handball World Championship 2025. In Germany’s oldest city you will find the modern Arena Trier, suitable for 5.000 fans and with an exciting atmosphere for the matches.
