What is the Main Round?
After an exciting Preliminary Round , the second stage of the Handball World Championship — the Main Round — kicks off on December 3. The best teams from the preliminary phase are regrouped and will face off for a coveted spot in the quarter-finals.

The Preliminary Round is over, and now the stage is set for the Main Round!
The best teams from Groups A, B, E, and F will go head-to-head at Rotterdam Ahoy. Meanwhile, the best teams from Groups C, D, G, and H will compete at the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund.
